Colby von Crivitz is a stunning 11-12 month old "liver" colored German Shepherd with a goofy, easygoing personality and a heart full of joy. This handsome guy does wonderfully on leash, stepping out ready to explore, walking happily by your side greeting every person and dog he passes. A very social and friendly boy, Colby is eager to please, knows his "sit" command, takes treats with gentleness, and will happily trot right up to you for some well-deserved petting. His love for life shines bright in playgroups, where he enters comfortable and happy, immediately inviting other dogs to play and having a blast running around with his canine companions. He's also passed initial cat testing. He had been injured when we got him from an animal shelter. They sent a video of a dog who didn't let being hit by a car slow him down.  He's since had an FHO surgery on one hip, and his recovery has been amazing, as we guessed it would be with his spirit. He won't have any restrictions later on. Soon he'll be ready to party! (It's possible the other hip will need surgery, but the rescue would cover the cost at one of our vets.)  Friendly, affectionate, and eager to learn more, Colby is ready to bring his sweet, playful spirit and endless warmth to a loving forever home.
